I have been blinking my eyes a lot everyday for two weeks now. Humans blink eyes every few seconds. But I do it frequently as in like too much of blinking!!! And I only blink my right eye, not the left and I don't know why. The blinking eye syndrome is coming back again.
I used to blink my eyes before till my ex-boyfriend trained me up to stop it all. I stopped for awhile. Then, when I came back to Malaysia after awhile, the blinking eye syndrome came back again. Gosh, this is so annoying cause it hurts. When I blink too much, my eye becomes painful and turns red!!!
They say if you blink your eyes too much, you're way too fickle-minded. Oh-kay. Maybe I am fickle-minded. Umh fine, I am way too fickle-minded. I seriously don't know what I want in life. I ponder about life and think of what I want in life and I seriously am fickled with what I want to do with my career. One minute I want to be a journalist. Another I want to be a public relations/marketing consultant. One minute I want to be a psychologist. Another I want to be an accountant. Seriously, what do I really want?
I am so unsure of what I like or love these days. This includes everything!!!
Back to the blinking eye syndrome, this has to stop. Lord, I pray that you take that syndrome out of me in Jesus' name. By his stripes I am healed!!! I believe by faith!!!

News
I love reading BBC news. It's full of detailed information to read about. CNN is good on TV. SMH is good on the web too. But I prefer Daily Telegraph to SMH on paper.
News is so vital and important to all. Read it, you gain knowledge. You gain knowledge, you get the crowd. You get the crowd, you mature out of your little zone.
Agree?! Yes? No? Hmm ...

Fortunate
Aren't we fortunate to not have cancer?!
Appreciate your health before it's too late. Eat healthily with more fruits and vegetables. Eat less fats. Fats only destroys your body, adding more toxin into it ...
Health is so vital to all. Act before it's too late. You still have a chance while you can!!!

Go Away, Weird Syndrome
Is it just my weird exhaustion syndrome or has my energy level lowered down today?! I've been resting for half a day now and yet I find myself tired. I have no idea why, but I know it's killing me!!!
I haven't had the strength to get out of bed to stand straight. When I'm standing, I feel dizzy. Thank God I canceled all appointments for the day.
Weird syndrome oh weird syndrome, would you leave me pretty please. I wanna break free.
Could it be the weather? I doubt so, it's not even warm today. It must be one of those days where your body system goes all haywire. And I don't think it's the jet lag ... I've been back for 2 weeks now. And I don't think it's the time difference that I'm trying to get used to!!! Nope, that couldn't be it.
A day of blues where your world gets dizzy and upside down ...

What Happened To Overcrowded Malaysia?
Is it just me or has Malaysia lost its sense of traffic jams and overcrowded places?
The roads used to be full of cars to cause a massive traffic jam and now half of the cars are gone. I find myself as if I'm driving in Australia once again. What has happened? Is everyone leaving the country or just too lazy to go out? Gosh this is shocking. In a way it gives me a great sense of relief. Plus, there are more parking spaces at night when I go to eat at the popular SS15 and Taipan? What a relief. Nevertheless, I'm surprised!!! I've only been gone for a year and all these have happened? What's going on?
The shopping malls used to be full of people and now it's as if half of 'em went missing?! What has happened?! It was always busy and people were always rushing everywhere shopping or eating or simply walking?! I'm really shocked to know that they've all went missing?! Once again, it is a relief for me. I dislike overcrowded places, don't you?! Doesn't it give you a headache?! Nevertheless, what's going on?!
I've only been back from Australia for about two weeks now and this is what I see? I can't believe my eyes!!!!
Prove me if I'm wrong at other parts of Malaysia but this is what I see at my side.

Girls, It's Time To Look Good
Make-up or no make-up?!
Make-up = makes your eyes bigger, makes your face fairer, makes your cheeks rosier, makes your face look more cheery and attractive.
No make-up = makes you look dull, makes you look pale.
Which would you pick? I think it depends on every individual. For example for myself, it depends on what occasion. Different occasions serve different types of appearances. For example if I were to go for a wedding dinner, make-up would be essential. Or if I were to visit my Grandma just as a casual visit, I would not wear make-up but put slight powder. Or if I were going to class, I would just touch-up a little here and there, a natural look. It really depends though.
When I was younger, I used to think make-up was so so annoying. It itches my face, the lipstick is wet and makes my lips wet and sleazy. It's just simply annoying.
Believe me, I started really wearing make-up at the age of 19, can you believe it?! And it was natural make-up. I didn't put heavy make-up at all. I learned about eye-liners and eye-brows shaping only at the age of 20. Pretty late, I know. At least I learned it all. Besides, I'm growing from small girl to elegant lady. I learn things step by step from time to time and it gets better over time.
It's important to use the right facial products for your face; I recommend Lancome. And the right make-up for your face. Consult a beautician on the right make-up for your face and the right directions to put make-up on your face. Trust me, it works.
Same goes with the nail polishes and the hair maintenance. Basically, looking good. It's particularly essential for every girl to look after their face, hair, nails, body ... basically the way they look is essentially important. It's part of womanhood. Hygiene needs to be looked after too such as shaving armpit hairs, brushing your teeth to make it look white and shiny, maintaining good breath, shaving the hairs on your legs.
Maintaining your hair is very important. Make sure it looks good and shiny, no split ends but just perfect hair. Consult your hair stylist to check what hair style suits your face and ask them for tips on how to maintain your hair to be perfect shiny and silky hair. Go to the beauty parlour to do your nails once a month, pedicure, manicure, whatever suits. Consult a gym instructor to ask for tips on how to maintain a good body. A good body = you need a good diet and good exercise plan. But whatever you do, don't STARVE yourself!!!
When you look good, you have the confidence. Doesn't everyone want all that?! When you look good, you shine and all would be attracted to you and only you. I'm not only emphasizing on your future boyfriends, but on your employers, family members, friends, relatives, strangers. When you look good, it may attract your clients to do more into depth business with you as you look presentable. And it may promote you to a higher post too. Besides, the world is covered with the face of beauty. Everything is about beauty beauty beauty. No one wants ugly things. Think about it. Make-up or no make-up?!

Rich Or Poor
Would you prefer to be rich or poor?
What would you gain by being rich? By getting all the fortune and fame in the world, what would you gain? Would there be happiness? There would be temporary happiness, not permanent. The happiness would drift away soon enough. And all you could ever find yourself with is ... dissatisfaction. You find yourself lost and lonely. You feel as if you're living in a world of your own with no one beside you.
Sure it'd be great to own a big house, a fancy car, branded clothes, branded handbags, branded shoes ...!!! Nevertheless, would you be happy? Sounds pretty fake to me ...
On being poor, you find yourself being thrifty 24/7. You find yourself not having the things you want to grasp. You won't be able to date. You won't be able to get proper friends. You won't be able to enjoy. You find yourself suffering 24/7.
So which category would you place yourself in?!
I'll say right in the middle where it's just nice. Not too rich and not too poor. Just enough to have a relaxing life. You never have to worry who would want to snatch your riches away. You never have to worry of the finance. You never have to worry of the politics that the rich world may put you in. You never have to worry of people looking down on you. And the list goes on.
Ka Ho Yuet Yuen has made me realized that being rich is not everything. Being normal is just right. Being rich is just too complicating. Sure there are some rich people who tend to be humble but it all depends. Not everyone can be all that.
It's everyone's dream to be rich. But will you be happy when you reach that level?!
There's a saying. "When a person turns rich, that person would turn proud, looking down on all individuals that seem to be of lower status" It's true and I've seen it not only on television dramas but in reality as well. Sad as it is, would you want to risk losing your personality and fall into the trap of the proud? Wouldn't the whole world hate you then? Besides, God despises the proud but blesses the humble.
Think about it. Be wise.

Australia VS Malaysia
Life in Australia is pretty laid-back, free, fun, chilling, and cool. We have four seasons. Summer = extremely WARM. Autumn - Chilly and hot, but cold. Winter - Totally cold and annoying and windy and rainy. Spring - Chilly and warm at the same time - My favorite.
People in Australia are rather friendly. We meet people along the way so easily and everyone gets along well with one another. How great is that?!
Studying in Australia is difficult. Assignments are neverending. English requirements are pretty high. The requirements the lecturers expect of you are pretty high. The workload is so much higher. And the stress you get is neverending!!!
Working in Australia requires a lot of challenges. You'd have to think out of the box. You'd have to be hardworking. You'd have to work very hard to get to the top. You'd have to compete compete compete. There's no such thing as rest when it comes to working. There's just so much to do!!!
Now it comes to the Malaysia part.
Life in Malaysia is rush rush rush and OT OT OT. OT is overtime for your information. That's the life we get in Malaysia. We're always having late nights in offices. We're always having late dinners. We're always late. We say we'd arrive at 8am. But we arrive at 9am instead. We categorize it as Malaysian so-called timing. Yep, we're late boomers.
The weather is always warm warm warm. The humidity is higher than Australia's and that's why we sweat more often. We're always driving cars cause we can never rely on public transports. We're always going out for late session in mamak stalls to chat with friends. We're always going out all the time. Food and friends remain our top priorities outside of work and study.
Studying in Malaysia is normal. The assignments are huge but it's so much easier than Australia's. The English requirement is just normal. The workloads are enormous but it's so much easier to complete it and the lecturers always have mercy on you. It's just simply easy peezy!!!
Working in Malaysia is alright. As long as you get along well with your bosses and colleagues, everything's fine. But ... there would always be office politics. BACKSTABBERS!!! And you're always having overtime work in the office. Some stay till 11pm or past midnight. They're always busy busy busy. They're always moving around.
And I'll remind you one thing, you can never find a decent parking place in Malaysia because it's always full!!!
Malaysia sells illegal stuffs. Australia doesn't. Malaysia has all the cheap food and clothes. Australia doesn't. Malaysia has all the 24 hours stores to eat at. Australia has only in some certain parts of the country, not all.
Malaysia or Australia?
I'll always be Malaysian. I'll always breathe a Malaysian and live a Malaysian.
Australia's good as well. It keeps me stronger and stronger and challenging myself into new levels in life. I'll probably go back to Malaysia in a few years time after gaining some experience in the workforce in Australia. It is a good place after all.
We'll see how things goes. After all, I don't plan my life. God does and I go as it goes.
Malaysia has its own weaknesses and so does Australia.
I still love Malaysia though. And I do enjoy the Australian life. Nevertheless, once a Malaysian always a Malaysian. It never dies.

Summer Is Here
Summer is here. A wonderful summery feeling has occurred. A long break has arrived. Fun in the beach, shopping with girlfriends, relaxing in the pool, late nights with mates, watching the films you missed, eating all you've missed out, and all the fun things one could think of ... it comes to my list of activities stored in my head for the summer.
Leaving for Perth in 2 weeks time, that's something to look forward to. Up for Malaysia in 3 weeks time, that's even better. A great summer awaits. The weather's getting even more warmer as of recent. More company seem to satisfy my happy soul. Boredom destroyed. Excitement, happiness and fun fills this very soul of mine.
After a long journey for 3 months of researching, writing articles and presentations, a break to soothen things up has arrived. It's time to lift yourself up and flap your wings and fly in the sky till a new journey for another extra 3 months begins once again. Celebrate and enjoy while you can. Once the real thing starts, it'd be difficult. A shortage of breaks and a shortage of time to relax.
Celebrate and cherish, that's so ever vital. Appreciate and cherish each moment you undergo for time flies like a rollercoaster and you can never turn back time.

New York, I Fell In Love
Reading "The New Yorker", an awesome feature magazine website where they have feature stories that is true and actual stories that seem to be intriguing and entertaining ... I seem to miss New York. I love New York!!! Sydney reminds me a lot of it. Nevertheless, the true NYC is better indeed.
New York where Times Square is, Central Park, awesome snow during winter, awesome Broadway and musicals, awesome entertainment with constant different concerts and jazz stuff ... anyone's bet to fall in love with it. The females would love the shopping ... awesome clothes, shoes and handbags ... oh it's heaven for shopaholics. Check "The Confessions of a Shopaholic" for a taste of it. You'll feel it. That's for girls that is. Unless there are guys who are shopaholics. Believe me, I've met guys who are shopaholics like me too.
A wide dream to stay in New York, it's impossible at this point. The wonderful entertainment and media world I want to explore, I can only fantasize. I am in the media line and would love some exposure there. Besides, New York is where you get all the wonderful entertaining experiences of the media. Los Angeles too. Nevertheless, New York is the city of luxury and heaven.

Can I go back? New York Oh New York, could you pull me in? I am amazed at your beautiful features inside out. I was only 21 back then. I'm 24 now, all grown-up ... maybe another visit would do good. Probably in 2 or 3 years, who knows. We'll see if my future boss sends me there for work!!!
By any chance, have you been to New York?!

What Is Love
A: I really love you and wish you could be my girlfriend.
B: You love me? But why?
A: Cause you're nice, bla bla bla and dot dot dot ...
B: How can you say you love me when you don't even know me? Don't you even know what love is?
A: I do know you.
B: What are the ten things I love and hate? What am I like? What is my personality like? What is my identity like?
A: umh ...
Seriously, do you even know what love it truly about?
Love takes a long time to develop, especially girls. It takes a long time to know if you truly love a person. There's just so much to know and learn.
But, really ... what is love? How do you know you really love a person? What would you do if you really love a person. I don't believe in flattery words. I believe in actions in love. Actions speak louder than words. If you say you love me, show it to me.
When I love a person, I would go the distance for this person. I would go as far as I can to talk to this person, spend time with this person, do something special for this person. I would be close to this person and this person's surroundings, accepting his family and friends. Basically, I would do anything for this person.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres." - 1 Corinthians13:4-7
Don't say I love you when you don't show it. It takes a lifetime to know a person inside out.
If you think you like a person, don't say I love you. Get to know the person inside out first for a year before you step into it. Be friends first and see how things goes. God always has a final say. Focus on God and let him lead your life. Don't let relationships be your main focus. Let God be your MAIN FOCUS. For it's said in Matthew 6:33 "Seek first HIS kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you"
Trust God, he has a great plan for your life. Don't destroy God's plan but follow it.

Birthdays
Birthdays .. it's one of the most memorable days one can think of. I've had 24 birthdays and I've come to a conclusion that I have grown so much. I've stepped out of my little shell and enlarged. Full of confidence, boldness, courageous, gentle, happier, wiser, matured, and the list goes on ...
One year older. One year wiser. One year matured. One year smarter. One year prettier. There goes the saying...
A memorable birthday to remember...
Life is so full of excitement, surprises, happiness and blessings. Take a chance to cherish it and enjoy to the fullest...
Appreciate every birthday you have ...
You're growing each year ... I still miss being 21 ... But I know I have to grow up. It's about time. Same goes to you.
Birthdays should be days to enjoy, remember and be happy about. It doesn't matter if you're celebrating alone or with friends or family. It doesnt matter if someone hurt you on your birthday. Enjoy it to the fullest, it's only once a year ...

Malaysia Day In September
Malaysia Day = 16 September = Public Holiday = Effective Beginning Of Next Year.
How amazing is that? Malaysia has added a new public holiday. I'm relieved in a way. But in a way, I think Malaysia has too many holidays. Students would slack and so would the workers.
"Malaysia Day would be celebrated with events that would foster closer unity, understanding between the different races and community success and achievement through sports, social culture and arts, to spur the 1Malaysia spirit"
That's something lovely to look forward to. Malaysia is reaching towards unity. Najib's good after all. Good strategy, PM Najib. I'm so impressed. It'd be something to look forward to. Though I'm currently living in Australia, I was born a Malaysian and I live a Malaysian and breathe a Malaysian. That's something I can never get rid of. Therefore, something nice about Malaysia would do relief to me no matter how.
Impressive news to know about. I can betcha Malaysians are all shouting for joy now. Who doesn't like holidays? NO ONE!!! Holidays are always a relief. Makes you relax and enjoy life.
Nevertheless, Malaysians have something happy to look forward to. Hip hip hooray!!!

If I Can Do It, So Can You
Tasks after tasks, it's a never ending process. It goes on and on just like a roller coaster ride. Irony, really. Nevertheless, it keeps you stronger and makes you grow from small to big.
Production journal's almost done. I've managed to cut it to 1500 words. All I need to do is edit it in the right order and structure that I require it to be. It's scary in a way as I have so much to write but I'm afraid that I would not be able to deliver it because of the word limit required.
Feature article has 600 words to go. All my sources that I have interviewed have replied to all my requests. It took me a month to chase these sources. I still have much to pretty up the words in that very article. Gosh, there's just so much to write that I don't know where to begin. It's such a wide topic, yet I find it hard to lengthen it. I guess I'd just have to write some expression and poetic words to beautify the article a little.
I'm getting there. All you need is some more determination and persistence.
This Masters course has taught me so much to be even more determined and persistent. I've learned how to be more confident too. And outspoken too.
If you think you can't do it, you can. You just need to step out of that small shell of yours and grow into a giant snail and just say, "I CAN DO IT" like Nike's motto, "JUST DO IT". You just need to believe in yourself and not fear others. Great people would never belittle you but encourage you. Small people are the ones that belittle you. So don't you worry, you'll do fine at the end of the day. We meet all sorts of people everyday. It's a learning process and you'll know who suits your circle of crowd. Everything always happens for a reason. And there's always a rainbow after a thunderstorm.
I did it well. I stepped out of that box. I'm so much different from before. I'm so talkative and friendly and outspoken and daring and confident. I truly am. I'm honestly not afraid of anything anymore except God of course.

If You Have Something, Cherish It, Don't Push It Away
"If you have something, why won't you accept it and treasure and treat it with care and love?"
The quote above applies to all, especially young people. We young people tend to take things for granted. When it's in our hands, we never appreciate it. When we've lost it or when it's went astray, we regret and take back our words and try to get back that thing we want so much to hold.
It's simple as A B C and 1 2 3.
Every little thing that's been given you, that you've worked hard for, that you discovered, that you have ... appreciate it and work hard to maintain it.
God has given you your family, appreciate them with love, care and understanding no matter the circumstances.
God has given your great intelligence so use them in the right way.
God has given you the opportunity to study so study well and don't put it astray.
God has given you the opportunity to work so accept it and dont complain and demand things. Be humble and more will come to you. Accept all that's there for you.
God has given you a good boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse ... accept it and don't complain, don't demand things from him or her and dont expect him or her to be something else. Accept it and appreciate it and treasure and do things to make him or her happy. It's your blessing and you should cherish it like diamonds. Work hard to this relationship with God leading it in the right way. Nothing comes easy. If you think it does, you're living in a dream. Relationships should be a two-way and both should be working hard together.
God has given you great friends so cherish them and don't judge them. Accept them for who they are.
God has saved your soul so start saving other souls too. Step out in faith.
Appreciation and gratefulness is vital. Your reward will come soon. Just hold on, be humble and be righteous. It's only in his timing that he would give it to us. We only have to be patient. Trust me, it works.
Appreciate before it's too late.

Life Goes On ...
A broken heart, a wandering soul, a haywire mind ...
Yet, life goes on ...
There's so much one can take in ... at the end of the day, just breaks down and say "I've had enough and I wish this suffering would end"
To be broken apart by the people you love ... that's more hard to forget ... and let it go ...
Yet, life goes on ...
Letting go is a hard word. Missing is suffering. Holding on is painful.
How are you to let go a precious thing you've hold on to preciously? Something you wanted to keep forever? Something you know is going away?
If you love something, if it goes away, no matter how painful it is, let it go. That's genuine love. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was. But I always believe, always work hard to gain it. But don't force it when you know it can never be yours.
Everything has a beginning and an end. Life goes on ...
Yet, life goes on ...

How much do you love God?
A friend was telling me today that it's so sad to see people who claim they're Christians but are only Sunday Christians. When he said that, I have to admit it was true.
They say they love the Lord but how many of them actually follow what the Word of God says? I'm not judging or anything but that's the fact. And it breaks God's heart to see his children this way. Christianity is not just a religion where you're holy and righteous only on Sunday's during church service time. It's about a relationship with God.
There was a part in the bible where it said, why do you call me Lord when you don't do what I say? - > This part strikes. How many of you really love God to do anything he says? We may have some mistakes. And yes, the Lord has grace on us. But that doesn't mean we have to take advantage of that and make more mistakes repetitively.
God does not want to see his children not fulfilling his commandments. You may make mistakes sometimes and that's fine. God will forgive you if you ask for his forgiveness. He's always there for you.
How much do you love God that you'd do anything to please him? During Judgement Day, if he asks why you did that, how would you answer?
How many of you really follow the word of God? Most people always want to do things their way cause in their mind, it's what they want and they know that God would want them to be happy and so they do it their way. But that's your flesh way, not God's way. God wants you to be happy but if you follow HIS way, wouldn't that be better? Wouldn't more favor and blessings come your way even more? Whatever God says is always for our own good.
Think about it. How much do you love the Lord to do things for HIM?
I love God so much that I won't want to do anything to hurt him. I do make mistakes sometimes. But, I always repent and try not to repeat again. If I repeat again, I will repent until I get it right. There were time where I was led astray and went against the Lord but I always come back to do the right things he wants me to do. God has been so amazing to me that I'm so thankful and grateful to him to whatever he has given to me; be it studies, parents, family, how I look (he has created me so beautiful), friends, boyfriend, job, etc. He has done things that I never thought I could do.
Children of God, how much do you love God?

Passion
I'm losing my passion to blog at the moment.
I love blogging. I have so much stuff to blog about.
But currently, the situation I'm in makes me lose my passion. CLASSES & ASSIGNMENTS!!!
I'll be back later.
I'll be on hiatus for now.
Too loos.
Note: It's been a long journey and it's gonna have a smooth sail, I reckon.

Persist Till You Finish The Line
I have about a month till this semester finishes. I have been through so much throughout this semester. Assignments after assignments. Readings after readings. It's a never ending process.
One thing I've learned is to always keep trying and reach the goal you're after. I kept trying harder and harder. I've never pushed myself this far. Maybe it's because of the fact that I don't have much close friends here in Sydney since I'm new to this city. I've only been here for about 6 months now. I'm a Perth citizen. Sydney's still all new to me.
I seem to be more hardworking than ever. I do relax once in awhile but I do not panic and I do all I can do. I am not anxious at all. Lesser stress seem to consume. It ain't an issue to me any longer. Life isn't a bed of roses. There's so much to deal with. Everyone deals with it. It's just how you deal with it patiently. Persistence, that's what I'm talking about. Persist and endure, you'll reach that goal in no time.
I have about 6 assignments left to do. It's going well for me. There's much for me to do within this one month. I honestly can hardly wait for this one month to be over. It seems so long but really, time has flew so quickly that I don't know where to begin?
Persist and endure and finish the race. It's only just begun. There's so much more to learn and to discover. Life is always a learning process. We the Y Generation, should be willing to learn all that's been told to us. We should be humble and accept all that's been taught into us. We should always persist to finish our goal and never give up. And most important of all, endurance is essential. Without endurance, everywhere we go will be a time bomb.

Missing You
I miss my best friends from back home.
I'm home sick.
I wanna go home.
I love Australia, but I miss Malaysia, my home. I was born there and grew up there!!!
Lots of Love,

Sigh
I've caught myself with a cold.
I'm having a very bad day today.
I'm being very child-like today. Can I take a break please?
My week break was just over and I need a break again?
I sigh for the whole of today ...

Politics Everywhere
Business politics is so confusing.
After seeing few episodes of that TVB drama "The Gem Of Life", I can feel the pressure. Being in it itself is a mess. Being a spectator of it makes you so umh ... frustrated why these are happening at all. Gosh, this is a revolving situation and an ongoing one too.
I wonder why business politics exist anyway?! Everyone's always competing because of $$$. To get the best riches and the best image in the world, they would make it so impossible to shake hands in a friendly way. They hate people who stand in their way. They must definitely get their way no matter what.
I believe it contradicts. It's so confusing that I can imagine if I were a part of it, I wouldn't care anymore. Not to say business politics ... happens in the company too ... company politics. Backstabbers and haters ... who can stand 'em?!
Politics seem to happen everywhere be it your business, workforce, family, friends and etc.
Question is how to solve 'em?!
1) Heck care. I have my own life.
2) Do my work and that's it.
3) Sit back and relax and watch the show.

Patience
Patience, endurance, perseverance.
Whenever you feel like you're being told things in an insulting or harmful way, listen and give it a thought. Take it as if information is delving into your head and processing the data to the analysis system. We all have our own disagreements but it would be better to just simply keep it to ourselves and save ourselves from less trouble. The more we talk back, more harmful words are to come and a mental or health issue would exist.
It's all about patience, endurance, and perseverance. All you gotta do is wait a little while and observe. You'll find that you'll able to discover new found information that you never though existed. That's part and parcel of life. Life is not a bed of roses. We need to go through the ups and downs in order to be successful.
Whenever you feel like you're caught up with so much work and don't know how to deal any longer, persevere. There's always a rainbow at the end of a thunderstorm. Fret not and do not give up. A reward awaits you at the end of the race. You've started the race so finish it. A satisfying prize awaits you to bring happiness to your soul. You'll find that you'll be able to do that task at the end of the day more easily as time goes by.
It's all about the patience. That's how I gained mine. It works.

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus ...
Turn your eyes upon Jesus ...
That's my motto for the day.
In whatever I'm going through ...
God never fails to be there for me ...
Answering my prayers ...
Helping me get up again ...
He has protected me greatly ...
I shall not give up ...
I shall finish this race ...
It has started ...
It will be completed ...
And it would not end ...
God sees ...
God hears ...
I love HIM!
That's my motto for the day.

If You Have A Job
If you have a job, keep it and stop whining how tough and annoying it is.
Those that are jobless have been applying jobs and not getting any responses at all. It's an ongoing crisis and the jobless are the ones to be sympathized upon ... they need jobs to survive but can't find any cause employers don't have sufficient funds to hire any more workers. Be thankful that you're not one of 'em.
I'm pretty blessed to have a part-time job at Mamak. Sure, I would love a job to do with the media. I'll probably go for volunteer jobs at the end of this year, where summer break starts and I can focus on developing my skills as a journalist or a PR Co-ordinator, whichever company accepts me as a volunteer to work for them for free. I regretted for not accepting that job as a Marketing Officer or I would be getting my PR now and would be working in a better PR firm now. But things happen for a reason, I wouldn't be in Sydney but in Perth if that was the case.
So don't whine about the descriptions of your job and your daily frustrations at work. You have a job!!! I've been jobless since February. Finally, I get a job and I'm starting this Friday. Though it's a waitress sort of job, I'm thankful enough.
Appreciate what's laid before you. At least you're not sleeping in the streets, begging for money. Money is so vital in the modern era. Without money, there's no such thing as survival. The boat would sink in no time!!!
The global crisis is everywhere and it's gonna last for at least about 3 years. Live with it, keep your job, enjoy it no matter how suffering, and accept all that's been given to you.

The global crisis is everywhere and it's gonna last for at least about 3 years. Live with it, keep your job, enjoy it no matter how suffering, and accept all that's been given to you.

My Story Book
I've always been saying that I'm gonna finish my book for years now. The truth is that I haven't been writing. But I'm back to writing again and I'm still in Chapter One!!!! But that good thing is my passion is back again. I don't know how any why. Maybe it's because of the fact that I do not have a job and that uni is starting in a week's time!!!
I'll probably get the book done by the end of this year of mid next year and probably start finding ways to publish it. I've got tips by Natasha, my former Journalism lecturer. But I think I do need to consult a few others before I really publish it. But I'm definitely gonna publish it.
I'm still finding for a title for it. It's about my life story. I don't know why I wanted to write about my life story. I just felt like it.
I have other story lines in mind too and I have written some too but I haven't had the passion to finish it yet. Gosh, I really gotta start finish what I start.
Never leave something undone. Always finish it before it's too late.

Top Ten Hate List
My top tens of Hate List.
1) Messiness
I can't stand people who mess up the place. I am a rather neat person. When you mess up the place, I get frustrated and pissed. Cause it's annoying and my hands are itchy to put every single thing back in order. It just makes me annoyed to see the things not put in the right order.
2) Dirty
I hate people who make the place dirty. You can make it dirty but please clean it. I'm always cleaning everything and that annoys me all the time. I love my things to be clean. Even in my current apartment, I'm always clearing all the hairs, especially the BATHROOM. I'm always cleaning the table (so much of dust)!!! I need cleanliness in the house, puhleezeeee.
3) Noise
I hate noise when I'm trying to relax, do my work or reading. I need my peace and quiet. I don't mind the music and TV sounds. What I mind is the loud conversations I hear outside the door. That annoys me all the time.
4) Hypocrites
I hate hypocrites. As in like people who say one thing but do another things.
5) Insects
I hate insects a lot. They freak me out. Even when I was a kid!!!
6) Lazy People
People who are lazy, they annoy me most especially when you're living together. The person never seems to help around in the house. And it affects me cause it frustrates me a lot. Cause I'm always doing everything!!!
7) Inconsiderate People
I hate inconsiderate people a lot. Appreciate what others have given you. Appreciate what others have done for you. Don't neglect it ever.
8) Winter in Australia
It rains during winter in Australia and that's why I hate it. Cause it makes me wet. And I hate walking in wet places. Who doesn't?! It's annoying. I'll have to bring my umbrella everywhere and brace myself on getting wet and annoyed.
9) Disorganization
I hate people who are disorganized. We all need to be organized for out future, especially when we work. If your boss asks you where that document is, are you gonna look for the whole week to find for it? You'll get sacked!!!
10) High heights
Till now, I still hate high heights. It freaks me out. Gosh, I'm such a whiner.
These are my top ten hate list. I know it's a little too much but sometimes it frustrates me a lot. But, of course I'm patient with it. But only for a certain limit of time.
Gees, who can stand the top ten hate list that I've just mentioned above. Gosh, I'm whining too much. Okay, I'm stopping now.

Depression
My friends are in depression.
I'm in depression. Or I was till now. [I'm happy now]
Everyone seems to be in depression.
What is it with humans and depression? Why aren't we humans satisfied with what we have already?! I think depression is the devil's destruction to put us all down so that God's plan for us would be blocked.
But no I told myself that whatever happens, I'll never let the Devil come in my way.
You think what you think. If you stop thinking what you think, it would leave you. Everything you do is for the glory of the Lord. We don't know we're happy cause we're letting our minds control us. And that is not something we should do. We should smile instead of living in depression. Be contented with what you have. Appreciate the blessings you have and don't complain what you don't have. Just accept it and be grateful for it.
God's plan will happen in my life and your life. I trust in Him and have faith in Him and you should too. God's unconditional love for us is just amazing and beyond wonders. He has never failed to give us what we need. The least we can do is have faith in Him, trust in Him and wait on Him!!!
Ask, seek & receive. My all time fav verse from the bible. "Ask and you'll receive. Seek and you'll find. Knock and the door will be opened to you. "
God hears and speaks. I thank the Lord for that ...
Hillsong Conference is this Tuesday. I'm awaiting for that, this is gonna be so exciting. I can feel the fire of God burning!!! It's coming and everyone's excited!!!
God bless.

Orientation
I was browsing UNSW's website and I came across the orientation program. I have been to two orientations ... one in college when I was doing my diploma and the other was in my previous university when I was doing my degree. It came across to me, I don't need to do the orientation. But suddenly I thought, yea why not? It'd help me to get to know UNSW better and familiarize myself with the staffs and course mates.
Orientation. I don't know what I should expect. Sure it'll be fun. But, scary in a way too cause I hardly know anyone there and I'll be like a total stranger. Just like everybody else tee hee hee. We do get our own fears but get rid of it in a moment or two.
My orientation in college was the best because it was back home and they had so many fun activities that I could get myself enrolled in. In university, everything seemed distant cause it was a new country and a new place. I hardly knew anyone there. All the Malaysians were from KDU and they always stuck to their own group. And so most of my friends were foreigners. Weird don't ya think?!
UNSW has a weird orientation program. Their orientation lasts for a month. But I'm only attending three days of orientation, which is one week before class really starts.
Nevertheless, I'm excited about starting my Masters program. I'm gonna gain lots of knowledge, training and experience. It'd help me in the workfield in the future. Boy am I excited. And I'm the first granddaughter to study masters. In my maternal side, only two cousins who are males studies Masters. I'm the first girl to do it. You feel the pressure but it's alright I guess.
I have the support of my family and that itself is ever so important.

Weather Stress
The weather in Sydney has been rather weird ...
It's cold and not cold and cold and not cold. It's raining and sunny and raining and sunny and raining and sunny. How peculiar is that?! That's why everyone's falling sick, including me. And pimples are popping up and dryness in the skin.
Four Day Outlook [taken from abc.net.au]
Mufflers, beanies, warm jackets and shawls ... we all need 'em unless you want to get sick. Trust me, you won't even wanna go there. Being sick is not a good thing to be proud of. It's hell. It's suffering. In Cantonese we call it, SAM FU!!!
Prepare yourself before you make yourself a part of the sick clan.

Pregnant Man?

I never knew men could get pregnant. I thought women were the only genders that could get pregnant. Science has proven it and so has the world. Women were always the ones to get big bellies where infants were stuck in them for 9 months. It would be good if men would get it instead of women.
Thanks to smh.com.au I now know that men could get pregnant. But, this is a very rare case.
The particular Spanish 25-year-old Ruben Noe Coronado, was born a woman named Estefania and unfortunately still has female organs. How amazing is that?! Apparently, after doctors told his female partner that she isn't able to have anymore children, this Coronado guy changed his sex-change procedure to get pregnant through artificial insemination.
He was expecting twin boys in September. Unfortunately, bang ... he suffers miscarriage. Oh some disappointment. That would be a world record for the first man to get pregnant. So ever rare ...
However, fret not. In the United States of America, however, a 35-year old man, born a woman before undergoing gender realignment surgery gave birth to a second child last Tuesday. This means ... men are able to get themselves pregnant, as long as they were once women and keep their female organs. Now we know why and how.
It would be easier if women could change roles with men. Imagine the pain we encounter during pregnancy, giving birth period and after pregnancy period. Imagine the emotional issues we have after confinement. Imagine the period pain we encounter.
It's simply impossible unless they were once women or half-women.

Halal Magazine in Malaysia
Halal Magazine in Malaysia?
I've been a Malaysian for 24 years now and I didn't even know Halal Magazine existed till I read a specific article in Time magazine that specified much on 'halal'.
I was curious, googled it and guess what I found? It exists!!! It's a journal sort of magazine called Halal Journal. It contains of topics related to the Halal and Muslim markets worldwide which is distributed to 57 countries, amazingly!!! And it's only RM9.90, what a cheap price.

You must be wondering, what is halal? It is about everything from the food Muslims consume to the businesses they conduct to the transactions we perform in their daily lives. Muslims have a responsibility to ensure that what they practice and consume is clean, hygienic and not detrimental to either their health or well-being. Halal is an all encompassing concept which encourages a Muslim to seek and use products, ventures and services that promote cleanliness in all aspects of a person’s -that a product or service is safe for consumption, produced in a clean environment and health. That is the reason why Muslims do not eat pork cause pigs are swines and dirty.
Islam is popular, more like a celebrity issue. I'm not against it or anything. I just find it amazing, it has brought great shock to my very nerves. To think that an Islamic magazine could be distributed to 57 different countries and that it exists without my knowledge. I'm a magazine freak, how could I let that slip off my eyes?!
The halal thing is growing. In 5 years, halal food would be known in every country, or so I assume?! Then, the Muslims won't have to worry what is added into the food that they order. It is a hassle to ask every waiter who serves them to remove the pork since they aren't allowed to eat any pork.
Time will tell. It's too early to say. The westerners love meat. But with swine flu going on, I doubt that pork would be on their top list for meals.

Recession Hits
Recession has hit Australia, New South Wales in particular pretty bad, I quote.
Recession has hit America REALLY bad, my elder cousin from America tells me.
Recession hasn't really hit Malaysia but Singapore even more, my other elder cousin from Malaysia tells me.
What do I have to say?
Recession is beyond our control. Friends are thinking of leaving jobs at a time like this and moving to another job. Wise? Hmm, I don't know at this point with bad recession affecting the world.
Unemployment increases. Poverty increases. Beggars in the streets of Sydney increases. People buy more canned food which is so unhealthy. People sell properties and cars to get more $$$ for themselves and their families.
Though recession is bad, you still see people shopping in the streets of Sydney, branded or not. People get so intrigued to shop for their own special desires just to get satisfaction. The fashion in clothes and shoes are fancy and trendy to make everyone buy buy buy and not save save save.
This is bad. Surely retail stores need to make money by these people buying. But, sometimes it's just too much. This has to stop. My cousin shops once a week and I don't even shop. Not in Australia though I live here. I shop more in Malaysia though. Half price, way much better!!!
Plus you see people eating out rather than in. Eating at home is much more cheaper than out. I'm not discouraging restaurants to make $$$. But, people need to survive too. I only eat out twice a week. WEEKENDS!!! Cause that's when I spend my time with my friends and church. So, I need my social life too. But everyday? That'd cost me a bomb and my mom would kill me for sure.
Maybe you could try writing down all your expenses on a journal and minus it from your salary and judge it from there. Then, you'll know much about the value of it and learn to save more money before it's too late. Recession's gonna last for at least 3 years so beware. Start now or suffer soon. It's never too late now. There's still time.

Worker VS Student
I've always pondered upon the differences of being a student with a worker.
"Being a student is the worse things that can ever happen to me," my cousin tells me.
"I hate working. It stresses me out all day long. I wish to go back to study again. If only I have sufficient funds for it," a friend tells me.
"I love working cause I get $$$, but sometimes I wished I could go back to study again," an ex-colleague tells me.
"I love studying and I wish I could study forever," an ex-neighbor tells me.
Thoughts by individuals who view their life as a student and as a worker. But, what exactly are the differences?! It varies really.
Being a student gives you much knowledge. You're attending lectures and tutorials. You're doing your overloaded assignments that consists of a lot of research, a lot of critical thinking, a lot of writing, a lot of reading and a lot of presenting. You're caught up with studying as the things you learn at university is different from college and school. With assignments to cope up with and the exams that you know you should be studying for when you know you're gonna run out of time soon, you get yourself caught up in a world of stress mode. Your head is spinning around that you just wish you could be sick and get out of this studying world once and for all. Nevertheless, you still get to enjoy, especially during your long winter and summer breaks. That's how I felt back when I was studying my Bachelor's Degree program.
Being a worker gives you much pressure as well. You're meeting up to the expectations of your boss. You find yourself trying to cope up with your work in the office and end up doing overtime and end up complaining because of the lack of sleep and eating at an inappropriate time ... say close to 11pm? You're doing everything quickly and you must do everything in perfect order. You try to impress both your boss and colleagues. You go for endless meetings. You satisfy your annoying clients. You end up bringing your work home because you know you can never finish it by the due date. You begin neglecting your family and friends and end up being a workaholic freak. You end up having high health risks. You seldom get a holiday getaway, except for your annual leave that you'd normally keep for the end of the year cause that's when your kids get their summer vacation.
What would you choose? A student or a worker?
Personally, I'm glad I'm going back to uni to study my Master's for a year. On the other hand, I want to work cause I think it's time for my parents to rest and for me to earn money for them as well as for my future. Theoretically, I think being a student is better because you get as much as freedom as you want. If you wanted to skip your classes, that's still fine. But if you wanted to skip work, that's just simply impossible. Plus, when you're working, you'd have to deal with every single issue or conflict at work each day and can never run away from it. Being a student, you can run away from your problems as long as you get your assignments done on time. But, being a worker, you'd have stress all day long. And office politics sucks. Totally sucks. People backstabbing you, push you around, talk behind your back. Gee, all the possible horrid politics you can think of, you name it, it's there.
Still, I can never escape from the working world. So, I definitely would choose working cause I want to be a successful woman in life. I have a few goals that I want to achieve after 10 years of working. I definitely want to own my own business. To do that, I'd have to work and face the little and big hardships in the office world. I always loved working cause it makes me learn new things everyday and makes me stronger too. It makes my skills known too and I get to meet as much people as I can and it trains me to be a wiser person in life. I don't know why but I always loved working and always looked forward to be entering the career world. Makes me look elegant and professional. There's no reason for it. I'm just a person who looks forward to the future for the sake of myself, my beloved and my family. To conclude it all, I love to see myself a successful person, someone who loves to see myself earning money just like how my parents used to earn for my future and someone who always dreamt of working cause it looked elegant, professional and cool, and that's why I love working.
I can never stay that same small girl who'd study for life. It's time to mature out of that little world of mine to come out and start working. Sure they say, it's not too late to study. But, we need to think logically as well. Where's the finance gonna come from? We have a future to look forward to. Earning money for yourself, your undertaking future, your future spouse, your future children, your parents who took care of you ... is so ever vital. We can study but sufficient funds with a good plan is important too. Plus, we can study from our bosses, clients, and colleagues on the many skills that they have taught us.
Therefore, I choose working as a top priority in my life, though studying is much more relaxing and working so much tougher and stressful. What about you?!?!

Addictive FB
Facebook is so addictive, more like an obsession ...
Everyone uses Facebook. What is Facebook? Facebook is a social networking website that you can use for free. Facebook is used to connect and interact with people. People add friends to their list, send them messages, create profiles to inform their friends about themselves, upload latest photographs of themselves, and updating their friends on their everyday daily lives. Fun activities are included as well such as quizzes, online pets, poker, war games, and many more to name.
My cousin uses Facebook all the time. Each day when she wakes up, she uses Facebook. After work, she uses Facebook. After dinner, she uses Facebook. Before she sleeps, she uses Facebook. According to her, Facebook is her life. She loves facebok-ing all the time. She could update her friends on her feelings and what she's been up to. Plus, she could even check out what her friends are up to and the latest photographs of her friends as well. It's as if Facebook is a requirement to do before doing anything else at all.
I have Facebook too. I check out on people too. I think it's good to use this website to interact with people, especially if you're in Australia and most of your friends are in different parts of the world due to different plans in life that God has placed them into. It's also good since all your family and friends are so busy with work with recession driving them crazy.
But, one thing bad about it is it gets too addictive that you neglect your studies and work. Your life is everything about Facebook and you end up glueing your face to the computer facebook-ing. It's the same with Friendster, My Space & Twitter. You're just so intrigued to Facebook-ing that sometimes you don't even remember to eat, do your homework, or do the tasks your boss has delivered you to do.
One thing I learned is that when you like something, I'll try to balance it by putting my priorities first. I'm not saying Facebook is bad. I'm not criticizing Facebook. All I'm saying is that we have to finish all our tasks before Facebook-ing. For instance, I have priorities to cook, do the laundry, iron clothes, clean the apartment, do my bed, clean the bathroom, everyday before I ever do anything else. Next comes to practising my Chinese writing. Next comes to read and write. Then Facebook falls into place.
Nevertheless, Facebook is a good way to interact with your family and friends, especially if they're so busy with their work and BOYFRIENDS/GIRLFRIENDS, which happens all the time!!! It keeps you in the loop and what's going on. You could even maintain a close and clean friendship as you get to know them closer through Facebook. But of course it all varies on how close you were to them back in the olden days.
"Facebook is so addictive, I'm feeling it. I'm addictive to Facebook too. I log on to Facebook every one hour. How peculiar is that?! Except when I'm sleeping of course."

Drinking Alcohol

Drinking alcohol has its' own pros and cons.
Pros would be ...
1) Personally, it's soothing to the soul. When you drink, you blurt out all your problems to your mates. When you drink, you don't think about anything but just think of expressing your harbored feelings and basically having fun. Drinking alcohol simply helps you forget everything, lets you have a good sleep, gives you the excitement to dance, party and act crazy, and simply just for entertainment. Plus, alcohol is even good for a wine and dine event, a sweet date event, a business event, a friendly event, and many more fun events to name which would be endless to speak of.
2) Health wise, drinking alcohol keeps you healthy. It decreases inflammation to keep your arteries younger, which contains of fewer heart attacks, strokes, and wrinkles.
And for the cons ...
1) If you drink too much alcohol, you could have a high risk of cancer.
2) You could have a high risk of hemorrhagic stroke.
3) High risk of liver disease.
4) Damage to the stomach.
5) Damage to the heart.
Which would you want to risk? Drinking alcohol for the sake of parties and friends? Or putting a limit to alcohol consumption to save yourself from diseases or death?!
Though red wine helps women in health wise, there has to be a limit on consuming it to a moderate amount, which would be one bottle a day. For men on the other hand, two bottles a day would suffice. Unless if you drink once a week of alcohol, that would be fine to settle for a bottle or two.
Think before you start drinking too much even if it was to cost you to look like a fool with your mates. Or it would be costing your health or death. Who would be the blame then?
Personally, I love drinking alcohol too cause it makes me happy, hyper and excited. Plus I love having fun with my mates, drinking and partying. But, awareness needs to be put into practice to ensure that my health is not under high risks. My parents would mourn. My beloved would cry. My friends would miss me. Nevertheless, it's good to be aware of these little matters to be alert. It's your choice. It's either you win or lose. You pick.

Car For Sale
Do you have a car? Do you need a car? Why do we need cars? What is it for? In a city like Sydney, it's not necessary unless you are properly settled down with a family. And a family as in like a spouse and children with good sufficient fund for the family to relax and enjoy.
Cars like Porsche, Honda Civic, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Celica, they're surely good to be viewed upon. They're awesome for awhile to drive in cause you feel proud. You're like, "Oh, I'm driving a rich man's car and it's awesome and cool. Women would love me,". But after getting used to it, you'd get bored of it. So what's the point of having a luxurious car? Pride gets into you sometimes I guess.
I would like a Porsche someday but a normal car suits me. I have a car and I'm blessed to have this car. It's huge, automatic, has air-con unlike my previous car, great space. But, the only issue is I don't use it that much since I moved to Sydney. I used to use it everyday in Perth to work. But, now it seems useless in Sydney because I rely so much on transportation. Public transports in Sydney are simply fantastic. You don't have to worry about the time and everything's so convenient.
And so I'm promoting my car today for sale. Good one for my first official post. How funny. It is a good car. It's a Toyota Corolla Ascent 2007. It's brand new and it's working well. I've been using it for a year now. And it's automatic and it's really easy to drive. Suits well for a family car. Really comfy and cosy.

Welcome
Welcome, a new blog is born. It's been ages since I last used blogger.com as a blog. Due to personal reasons, I haven't had the passion to blog seriously. I have my own private blog that have not been disclosed due to personal private matters going on. Nevertheless, I am back, and this is a blog where I shall blog seriously like how I used to. It won't be a frequent one but it's still a real blog.
Till then, cheers.
Till then, cheers.
