Two weeks ...

Two weeks to go!!! Exactly two weeks left till primary school students get their 2-week break. This means I get a 2-week holiday. No teaching for two weeks ... this is paradise. No more waking up at 7 in the morning and no more coming back late. Whee :)

I need a break from all these kids. It's not that I dislike my students. I adore them. Just dislike waking up early. Furthermore, I don't have to think of what to teach them and I don't have to deal with the mischievous ones. :) Hooray.

Furthermore, my best friend will be in town for a week. I'm extremely excited. We'll be de-stress-inggggg and ho-li-da-yyyiiinnngggg. Can't believe she'll be here in two weeks. Time flies doesn't it? Before you know it, I'll be in Kota Kinabalu, in my wedding dress or in the middle of enjoying my honeymoon? Hehe :)

Anyway, time so sign off. I need some sleep to freshen up for tomorrow, dealing with all my naughty students.

Wedding Checklist

Getting married involves planning and action. Going through our wedding checklist ... there's still lots to do. 

It's five months away to the big day ... haven't had time to do much. Working and juggling with wedding stuff ... ain't an easy task. Getting your priorities done with work and planning your big special day ... involves energy. Like most married couples say ... "It'll be worth it". It's coming and we're excited!!! :) 

P/s: We've decided to go to Taiwan for our honeymoon hooray :)  

Deadlines

Deadline!!! What part of that do you not understand?

Sigh, I'm fed up with all these nonsense. There's a terminology called deadline ... pay up by deadline or extra fee will incur. What part of that do you not understand? Honestly, give me a break. I've relayed the message to you more than 5 times. Please pay up or face the consequence of paying extra. Are you really interested in enrolling your child in the programme? If that is so, pay up, pretty please. Don't make me ask you an infinity times.

Gosh, this is getting pretty annoying. I need a break from all these. It's giving me a big headache!!! If she doesn't pay me ... I'm toasted. =.=. I'm frustrated at this point. Oh dear Mrs, please pay to save me from trouble getting reprimanded by the boss!!!

I shall read soon

I've been watching too much of dramas lately. This has to stop. I need to switch my watching drama addiction into reading books. I have plenty of books to read from the shelf. In a way, it improves my English language proficiency and gives me motivation and encouragement. Furthermore, it gives me further knowledge and helps me view things in different perspectives.

The Opposite

"Left work, looking forward to an exciting adventure ... yet all seems to turn the other way."

Things have been difficult on my side, not knowing or understand the reason why these events are happening. To sum up, I don't get it!!!

You plan and ensure that everything is confirmed!!! Yet, the results tend to be a different story ... the total opposite. A blockage appears and you are left stuck in the middle, unable to move.

Asking myself why these events occur, I have no clue. Im clueless and disappointed of the recent events. No one truly understands how I honestly feel inside. It feels as if a large rocks is pressing down on me.

What would you do if you were in my shoes?

Oh I pray that the Lord would save me from this big obstacle.

Observing

Observing has always been fascinating.

I've been observing different types of individuals and have came to discover that each individual is different. There are certain barriers that you are not allowed or permitted to pass and there are certain barriers that you are allowed or permitted to pass. It's all a mystery, it's whether you know how to detect it and play safe within those barriers.

The best thing about observing is about helping you to be patient and pruning yourself and transforming yourself into a refined fruit, with no holes or worms. It helps you see things at different POVs. It helps you to see things at a different level as well.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's to practice humility, patience, kindness, generosity, love and care. That's oh so essential in every relationship, communication and other human dealing scenarios.

TV Series?

Do you have suggestions of interesting TV series to watch?

I've been so obsessed with my Asian drama watching that I've neglected watching my English TV Series on television. And yes I've missed all the great episodes.

I've been catching Desperate Housewives and CSI online. Do you have more suggestions? I feel like I've cut myself out from the English shows and I need to get back to it. It's somehow more realistic and fun to watch :)

Yeah sure, I do catch movies every now and then. Somehow, I prefer to watch more English shows, and that would resort to catching all the English TV series that ever existed in this planet. Don't want to neglect 'em!!! :)

Poor Nadal :(

It's been awhile since I last posted a blog entry. Sorry, dearest bloggie, I must have been too busy working to have abandoned you :(.

Anyway, here goes nothing.

Watched the Australian Open match: Djokovic vs Nadal, yesterday night. Didn't get to see the whole match, as the match lasted for 5 hours plus and I needed to catch my sleep for work the next day. Read SMH.com.au this morning only to discover that my favourite tennis player, Nadal lost :(. And I thought Nadal would win as he led out with 5-7. It seems as if all my tennis players are going second ... first, Sharapova and second, Nadal.

Still was a good game though. I love the intensity and competitiveness. Furthermore, they both played good. Djokovic is tall and had strengths. Furthermore, Djokovic has been ranked the no 1 player for awhile now. Poor Nadal. I guess he'll have to wait for next year's Australian Open to get his feet back on the championship road again.

p/s: I still prefer Nadal to Djokovic though haha.
